▸ 30-DAY RETURN WINDOW

You have 30 calendar days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. Returns requested after the 30-day window are at our discretion and typically issued only as store credit if accepted.

▸ CONDITION REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for a return, the item must be:

  • Unused — no scratches, scuffs, gasket compression, or installation marks
  • Undamaged — glass intact, frame square, hinges and latches functional
  • In its original packaging with all included hardware, gaskets, and instructions

Items returned in damaged or used condition may be refused or issued only a partial refund at our inspection's discretion.

▸ HOW TO START A RETURN

Returns are shipping-only. We do not accept in-person returns and do not operate a public-facing storefront for drop-offs.

    Email us at hello@thehuntsupply.com within the 30-day window. Include your order number, the item(s) you'd like to return, and the reason. Photos help if the item arrived damaged or defective.
  2. 02
    We'll send you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) along with the return shipping address. Items ship direct from multiple American workshops; the correct return address depends on your order, so we provide it on a per-return basis. Do not ship without an RMA — packages arriving without one are returned to sender.

    Pack and ship the item via any insured carrier. We recommend USPS Priority, UPS, or FedEx with tracking and insurance up to the item's value. Customer is responsible for return shipping on standard returns (we cover return shipping for defective or wrong-item returns — see below).
  4. 04
    Inspection & refund. Once we receive the item we inspect it within 3 business days and notify you of approval. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Store credit is issued instantly to your email.

▸ NO RESTOCKING FEE

We don't charge a restocking fee on any return. You get back what you paid for the item — full price, every time.

▸ WHO PAYS RETURN SHIPPING

  • Buyer's-remorse, fit, or change-of-mind returns: Customer covers return shipping. We recommend USPS Priority, UPS, or FedEx with tracking and insurance for the item's full value — losses or damage in transit are the customer's responsibility until the package is delivered to us.
  • Defective or damaged on arrival: The Hunt Supply covers return shipping via prepaid label.
  • Wrong item shipped: The Hunt Supply covers return shipping via prepaid label and ships the correct item at no additional charge.

Outbound shipping on every order is free, so no outbound shipping cost is collected and there's nothing on that side to refund.

▸ DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged, broken, or with a manufacturing defect, email us within 5 days of delivery with photos. We'll send a prepaid return shipping label and either replace the item at no charge or issue a full product refund — your choice.

▸ REFUND PROCESSING TIME

  • Inspection — within 3 business days of the package arriving at our facility
  • Refund issued — within 1 business day of inspection approval, back to your original payment method
  • Bank posting — most cards see the refund posted in 5–10 business days from when we issue it (varies by issuing bank)
  • Store credit — issued instantly to your email at inspection-approval time, no bank delay

Total typical timeline from when you ship the return to when the refund posts on your card: 10–18 calendar days. Choose store credit if you want it faster.

▸ EXCHANGES

We do not process direct exchanges. If you'd like a different size, finish, or product variant, return the original under the standard return policy and place a new order. Most customers prefer this because it ensures the new item ships immediately rather than waiting for the return to land first.

▸ NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

  • Custom-fabricated or made-to-order items, unless arrived defective
  • Gift cards
  • Sales tax (refunded automatically by our payment processor when the item is refunded)

▸ CANCELLATIONS

Orders can be cancelled for a full refund any time before they ship. Once an order has shipped, the standard return policy above applies. Email hello@thehuntsupply.com with your order number to cancel.

▸ INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Returns from outside the United States follow the same policy with one note: customer is responsible for any customs duties or fees on the return shipment. We recommend declaring the package as a "returned merchandise" shipment to minimize duty reassessment.
